Day 255 – 26th September 2018 – Darwin

This evening we went out with Kat and Angry for dinner to a little Italian restaurant hidden down an alley way in the city on Mitchell Street.  They make authentic Italian wood fired pizza which was very yummy.  We then headed to The Tap on Mitchell for a drink. This is a great alfesco pub/restaurant with live music playing (Dave we will take you there next time you come up!).

We found out that Kat and Angry are heading back to Adelaide permanently next week and both Col and I feel a bit sad about it.  We have really enjoyed their friendship and they have been a big part of the Darwin experience.  We will miss them for sure but wish them both all the best.  They have been keen to get back to Adelaide for a while so we did know it was coming.  We caught up for dinner tonight to say goodbye and wish them well.  We are happy for them but a bit sad for us.
