Day 245 – 16th September 2018 – Darwin, Leliyn (Edith) Falls

Col and I cooked breakfast on Sunday morning and we recreated an amazing dish I had at ‘The Cool Spot’ previously.  Toasted sourdough bread bruschetta with an egg on top and cooked ham off the bone on the side.  Delicious!  If you are at the Cool Spot, definitely order this one.

We then packed up camp and drove to Edith Gorge which was on the way home, about 60km from Katherine.  We decided not to swim but it is a beautiful spot and safe to swim it.  It would be a great place for a picnic and to hang out.

After spending a bit of time at Leliyn (Edith) Falls, we hit the road and began the drive home as we still had to unpack get ready for the week ahead.  A big weekend but well worth the effort.  We will be back!

    1. yep, got it sorted. The Scrubba bag has really been a good investment. The washing machine stopped just before the rinse cycle, so I threw the clothes in the Scrubba bag with some clean water and they soaked on the drive up there. I hung them out the next day and they were all ready for work again on Monday. Glad I didn’t forget them and leave them on the line in Nitmiluk!!!!
