Day 227 – 29th August 2018 – Darwin

Dave and I were off early this morning to go fishing at East Point Reserve.  High tide was at 8am so we planned to leave at 6.30am to get there beforehand.

Once again no luck with the land based fishing at East Point Reserve.  A beautiful spot and a fun morning but I haven’t broken the Darwin Land based fishing curse.  We have luck from the boat but no joy from the land.  Still better than working!  Looks like we will be buying our dinner again tonight.

That afternoon Dave very kindly cleaned my car while I sat there and took photos of him to post on the blog.  Thanks Dave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    1. It is pretty cool. They actually use them up here because the nuts on the trees dent your car if they hit it! Col is using the car port as he has to plug the fridge into the van. So my beautiful white cx5 gets covered in bat poop. But it was nice to see it shiny white when Dave cleaned it!! It is actually surprising how nice my car still looks considering where we have driven it and that it hasn’t been under a carport. It is doing pretty well!!
